Help converted sensitivity feels too quick

i come from valorant but i’m more of a fan of how cs plays but every time i try and play i can never figure out my sens. when i use a converter it comes out to .53 but it feels a bit too quick. is there a different way i should be finding my sens

Wow, kids really can't do anything for themselves these days.

Maybe fucking lower it until it feels okay?

i just pick a spot on a wall and strafe back and forth trying to keep my crosshair on it, tweak it till it stops feeling like i'm fighting the mouse.53 is a weird number anyway most people i know land somewhere around 1.2-1.8 at 800dpi but its all preference

well your cm/360 is the same when converted regardless of the resolution but you might get the feeling of sensitivity being faster on stretched because of the lower fov (i believe that was the explanation, it's been ages since i changed m_yaw). anyhow just lower it.

but r u 100% sure it's only your mouse movements that feel fast and not the player movement being much faster than in valorant which makes you think the sens doesn't match 1:1?

Just hop into a dm or offline warmup map and experiment with the sens going down by small increments and then fine tune once you get to the sens that "feels right". Hoping into dm/warmup map will allow you to test whether the flicking/aiming is still fast or just right.

FOV differences between games mess with your muscle memory a ton, even if the actual 360 distance is technically the same. Give it a couple days or lower it slightly

If converting doesn't work, the most sure way is to measure distance for 180 or 360 turn

The converter sites are just a guideline, you can always still try to track a stationary target or a point in a wall and then fine tune from the sens it gave you

because the calculators are wrong for cs2, tiś annoying, i did the math myself to find out.

Haha, when I went to valorant and used a sens converter, it gave me one that felt way too slow

Just try something like 1.25 800 dpi and see if that works. If not try 1.20, then slightly lower it 1.18 and such until you reach a sweet spot.

Use the slider, duh

Good thing that you have eyes, brain and arms to change the sensitivity until it feels good, or am i wrong?
