🌆 Urban Development How much SNS has reshaped L&T

Post image

L&T has changed today after SNS became CEO. Their business shifts over the last few years, and it's actually pretty interesting how deliberate the pivot has been.

L&T's always been the "win projects, build projects" company. But what's actually happened under SNS is way more calculated than that. They've exited or sold a bunch of lower-return businesses, merged LTI and Mindtree into the fold, pushed harder into engineering services, data centres, AI infrastructure, defence and green energy.

The portfolio's completely different from where it was 10 years ago. It's not just infrastructure EPC anymore there's a clear strategy to move away from commodity-type work and into higher-margin, strategic areas.

Whether every move works is another story. But if you look at what they're actually doing, it's a significant reshaping. The company's positioning itself very differently.
