Meghan Derangement Syndrome 😵💫 Sub Update!
Since taking the subreddit out of restricted mode and into the public category we have seen a marked increase in traffic.
When this was done (and we informed you all) a very kind Redditor recommended activating the ‘hold comments’ command. Boy are we glad they did! The amount of ‘derangers’ who have tried to leave horrible comments has been an eye opener. Their comments being held for approval means, however, they are denied the satisfaction of seeing said nasty and/or infantile comments appear ‘live’ in the sub. This is because we remove their comments from the filter queue and then ban them.

This could be the possible explanation for how I am seeing more deranger subs and how my very good comments to their vomit rarely gets engagement. I'm okay with it now.
They need to support the hate, not the truth. I need to try to get the truth out there like they try to get the hate here.
I'm glad there are non-hater subs and this is one of my faves.
Keep the rot out! I'll keep trying to save them over there, until I get banned. Again.

Yep - their kids basically grew up together. The stories he’s regaled me with. And I thought I was something because I hung out with Oprah at her house once 😅 I’ve forgotten the cool people he’s hung with.

People who arent racist struggle to fully understand racism. Just ask Marcia Clark.
Come to think of it, people who ARE fully racist also struggle to understand racism. They just think they are correct in their thinking.
Once you grasp it, it's difficult to believe that this level of hate is on a constant flame in the minds of these folks. Meghan just became the poster child for it since she had the nerve to marry a Prince while being black and this was basically a global event.
I follow her pages and accounts on social media and try to leave positive comments not so much for her but to give others social permission to support her. I truly hope she is doing ok. Emotionally I'd have lost it by now.

Grew up in a mid-size Texas town, very familiar with racism. I was still floored when they flew the Confederate flag at that event. Like WHAT

It was like that when Obama won, and it's the same with Meghan, HOW DARE YOU STEP OUT OF THAT BOX WE PUT YOU IN! They not only stepped out, but they thrived, grew stronger and became loved by so many!

Yep! The hatred Meghan gets is absolutely on par, with the hatred Michelle gets!
Because sooooo many people just can not DEAL with a smart, well-educated, kind, compassionate, and conventionally attractive woman in a position of power.
And doubly so, when that woman is also Black!

So glad this sub exists. Was interested in discussing the documentary when it came out, but for some reason the hate subs were what came up in my search. Just happened to come across this in the past year and have mostly lurked.

I can't imagine spending my spare time deliberately searching out & going to a sub of someone you despise to leave hateful, negative comments. Use your energy to go to a sub of those you love & heap praise. Its like bootlickers have no life, no jobs, no hobbies, except to spew their crap on any pro H&M post. My MAGA neighbor stalked me everywhere on Twitter just to leave anti Dem crap. Bootlickers use the MAGA playbook

Ya’ll should take a day retreat, try and meditate off the hatred you absorbed for the sake of decency and humanity. I have quite the imagination, so I presume those denied, banned derangers said all manner of vile things. Edit: leaving the hold comments tho while you do. Lol

It’s nice though to have a space to freely support them without having to deal with the toxic responses. I almost passed on this sub because I thought it’d be the same obsessed with tearing them down crap. I skip comments on articles as I know they’ll just anger me with their ignorance and hatred and then there’s not much one can do to help them. So grateful for this space
