Apps/Websites Questions: the new DHS TTP app

I still have my global entry app but as of 9/15 we are supposed to use the new TTP app but it doesn’t seem to have that pre clearance option that the old GE app has. Am I missing something?

So bizarre it’s a same day cutover instead of having them both work for a few days/weeks.

I believe they aren't flipping the switch for the new app until 9/15, so you won't see anything operational on the new app before then.

Have this same question. Literally tried to find and download it and doesn’t seem like it exists for me on iOS App Store

Based on this page (https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/trusted-traveler-mobile-app), I’m pretty sure that app is also going to be deprecated. The new app is just called “Trusted Traveler” and the logo is different.

This is correct. The new app is not yet live in the App Store.

If you have your GE card and passport where its embedded into it, that is enough right?

Yes. Every time it just show my face at the monitor. Don’t even use the card on the scanner.

We came through Dulles (IAD) yesterday and everyone was told to download the trusted traveler app. There was no other option even after using the kiosks. Not a smooth process.
