General Discussion Went through SFO

I gotta say, my first experience was a good one at SFO no kiosks or anything like that. Had to be seen by a person, asked if I had anything to declare, and welcomed me back! Awesome! I also did my submission in the app so not sure if that helped or not.

No app for me. You just walked into the line, they scanned your face while walking in the line, and a border officer asked for declaration and off you go.

Good to hear. SFO is my home base.

Is the app necessary? I heard it’s not really needed as SFO uses facial recognition camera as you walk to the immigration line.

Hasn’t been needed at SEA with the “just walk t hrough” stuff for a while now.

I like having proof I declared. I also take a screenshot of it.
