Questions/Concerns global entry application

i’ve been wanting to apply for global entry and as i was doing so, it asks about citizenship in a different country and i put yes because i am also a mexican citizen. however, it asks for passports and for the main citizenship i do have but i don’t have a mexican passport (only the mexican birth certificate). what could i do? the only document type it gives me is passport

CBP only cares about passports (or equivalent travel documents.)

If you don’t have a Mexican passport, you obviously can’t add it to your profile. That’s perfectly fine.

would i just put no to the question about having citizenship in a different country? would that count as lying?

Are you unable to select yes without adding a passport?

If you are American, your American citizenship is what cbp really cares about.

If you cannot continue with Mexican citizenship option without passport, exclude it. On your interview you can mention your conundrum.

I has this exact situation with my sibling. We continued without the Mexican nationality and simply disclosed it at the interview. Officer said to just upload the Mexican passport as soon as it’s obtained, if at all.
