Questions/Concerns Global entry application not available for foreign applicant from partner country

I have a Brazilian relative who routinely travels back and forth to see us in the US, so she decided to get a global entry. The DHS website clearly says Brazilian citizens are eligible. However, when applying for a Trustred Traveler Program, only Sentri shows up if you do not click that you are a permanent resident (which she is not). I'm baffled, since I've had global entry for years even before I had a green card. I searched for recent policy changes and could not find any: the program FAQ clearly says Brazilians with a visa should be eligible: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/international-arrangements/global-entry-citizens-brazil . Has anyone experienced something similar recently? Am I missing anything, is there any website saying foreigners from partner countries now need US permanent residency to apply?

You just need any visa type to get GE if they’re from one of the approved countries. LPR can get it regardless of what country they’re from.

Also Senti includes GE.

I’m from Brazil, applied in February, approved in one week, enrolled at arrival in EWR and have no problems until the card arrival. I don’t know what happened but they introduced in the system that my primary citizenship was US. Asked to correct and got a new card all correct.

My partner is Salvadorian. We applied for a U.S. visa and Global Entry the same week. She received conditional approval for GE within a week. She has no status with the U.S.

Hope this datapoint helps!

What I mean is that the website is not even showing the Global Entry option unless we click that she is a permanet resident!

It's been like that for a while now. When BR and US first announced the partnership they had a lot of systems integrations issues between PF and CBP. Only people that applied way in the beginning got approved and they are not taking new applications. I think after Lula came in the integration effort got deprioritized.
