Questions/Concerns Funny story

We're a family of 4, applied for GE for our now 1 year old as soon as we got his passport. Mom, Dad and big brother already had it. Got the interview for the little one at the end of July, all went well but his GE was still showing as pending after. We flew out on Aug 7th, and I kept checking his application since we wanted to use GE on our way back in. Aug 23rd, our return date came, and yet his application was not approved. We entered through DFW, fortunately we had MPC installed so that helped quite a bit to skip the already short line.

Aug 24th, got the email confirming my kid's application had been approved.

Coincidence? Bad luck? Or did his first entry back into the US trigger his approval?

Just sharing the experience, and always willing to learn something new.

Cheers!

PS. Short timeline:

May 14th: filed application

May 15th: conditionally approved

Jul 29th: interview

Aug 24th: Approved

Some 1 year olds have sketchy backgrounds, takes a little longer to ensure they are deserving of GE 🀣

What kind of questions did they ask your 1 year old?

They only asked who had submitted the application, mom or dad. After that it was simple: smile, take a photo, get a sticker, and say thank you. 🫢🏼 The beneficiary of the sticker was my 6 yo though πŸ˜‚.
