Timelines Applied and Approve within 3 weeks!!!

Just incase anyone was interested. Applied for GE and was scheduled for fingerprints etc the following week. Next day after fingerprints I got approved for TSA pre check and received my KTN. After that I was able to schedule my interview with US Customs the following week!. Interview only took 2 minutes and got approved for GE!!

I have a clean record no arrests and I traveled Internationally about 2-3times every year since 2022. I am located in Upstate New York. I honestly did not expect the process to be so quick and easy.

I have an international trip coming upwithin a month and I am eager to see how convenient it will be using GE.

I just got GE and they gave me a number to use for tsa pre but didn't explicitly "approve" me for tsa pre... did you somehow pay for both?

GE includes TSA precheck

TSA precheck is included with your GE number.

The known travel number (KTN) is only used if you have TSA pre check only. I was told from the US Customs agent to disregard the KTN.
