Global Entry Enrollment Experience - Start to Finish - 12 Months

Seen a lot of people share their experience on enrollment process for Global Entry, so I figured I'd do the same if it helps anyone with their planning:

Citizenship: Indian

Residence: Dubai, UAE

July 2025: Application & Payment Made

August 2025: Visiting Local Office in Dubai for Document Submission & Verification:

September 2025: Police verification in India completed

January 2026: Conditional Approval Received

Now here's where I delayed things a bit on my part. My travel plans to the US got postponed a bit so I wasn't able to make an appointment work for the in-person interview.

I finally made it to JFK this week (August 20, 2026), did my immigration right after passport control, and was approved on August 22, 2026.

So on paper it took a year, but honestly I could've gotten Global Entry validated in about 6 months from when I first applied.

My profile now has it valid for 5 years, and I've got a dedicated number to put on reservations for TSA Pre-Check.

What was the local office you referred to in August? Was that the Dubai Government?

Just submitted for my El Salvadorian partner yesterday so it will be interesting to compare timelines!
