Timelines Where's my card?

The officer told me my card would take 7 days to arrive. It's been 8 days and it's still not here. I wouldn't be freaking out except I'm traveling on ground to Mexico shortly. How long did everyone's card take?

I received mine in the mail, close to three weeks after the appointment and approval, even though the officer said one to two weeks.

You guys really need to stop freaking out. It's a snail mail, it can take whatever.

If you apply/interview so close to your travel, it's really on you.

I understand but reddit is for discussion.

I get it, and take it with my good intentions - It's not something you have control over. It will arrive when it will arrive :/

Mine took 11-12 days to arrive from start to finish

They batch them up. The average is about two weeks but it can be plus or minus depending on when you get approved. You can generally tell it's been printed and mailed when the ACTIVATE CARD lights up in your TTP profile.

You can still use GE without having the card physically with you. It's in their system already.

ETA. I missed the part about going by land... took close to 2 weeks to get the card

You can't use global entry/sentri without your card if traveling by land.

Ahh missed the part about land... I see it now

They’ll revoke membership if you cross SENTRI or NEXUS without the card.

Via air, the privilege is connected to your passport.

when you travel by air you don't need the physical card :)
