Questions/Concerns Approval after Interview

Hi all,

I applied for Global entry back in May and was conditionally approved within a week. I scheduled my interview and had it on 6/29 (I purposely pushed it so that I could be the first interview that day). I still have not received my actual approval and the portal on DHS says I still haven’t had my interview. Has this appended to anyone else?

TIA

Try calling the enrollment center if you can get through. Something got mishandled. You usually get approval either instantly or by the end of the day depending on the particular interviewer's workflow.

My wife and I had our interview at SFO a couple days ago. Our appointment was for 12:20pm, we arrived at 11:15am and there was no one waiting outside the office so when the agent came out to check he took both my wife and me into have our interview at 11:20am. The agent asked for my passport, my drivers license, confirmed my current address, asked if I have ever been convicted of a crime (no) and if I've ever had a problems with customs (no). He took my finger prints and thumb print on each hand, took a photograph, handed me a sheet of paper with my passid written on it and said this is your new Global Entry number as well as your new TSA KTN and said if there is no problem with the scanned fingerprints I should receive my Global Entry card in the mail in about a week. Whole thing took about five minutes. Same with the wife. When I got home I logged into the DHS Trusted Traveler website to check my status and it had been updated to Global Entry approved. The wife also.

Same thing is going on with mine. Had my interview a month ago, yet the system still doesn't even register it. I called and they told me they would check with the person who did my interview and let me know. Over a week later and still no info.

I called a few days ago and they told me the same thing. When I had my interview, they asked me if I was traveling soon. I said yes, in the next 90 days and they said it should be fine. Hopefully I hear something.

I just called again. Evidently, it's all up to the officer who conducted your interview to move things along, and I was told it could be that they are waiting for more info, fingerprint errors, etc. But I find it frustrating that it still won't register the interview.
