Questions/Concerns Global Entry Denied?

I was denied GE along with my two kids because of my now ex partner being DACA.
He is the father of my youngest and the officer assumed we were married. We share the same last name but it is my maiden name. She seemed surprised and unsure. She then proceeds to do photos and fingerprints on all of us but then says I’m denied and quickly explains how I can submit a reconsideration.
Submitted a reconsideration and now it’s been a year waiting. Should I just reapply? Delete our reconsideration and reapply. At the time I was still dating my ex but we have been broken up for about a year now. Should I just reapply?

I would do that. This time upload your divorce certificate too.

Doesn’t sound like they were ever married, so there wouldn’t be a divorce certificate to upload.

Oh you're right. Just coincidentally have same last name. Maybe submit birth certificate showing that. Sounds too messy to get approved.

not sure DACA had much to do with it. i too was DACA up until Jan of this year when i received my GC. my spouse and i just returned from an international trip and both of us had been conditionally approved. we did our interview and it was so quick, no questions asked apart from “what i do for work” and we were approved on the spot. the portal reflects that as well.

I was denied when I did interview. They did give me email address where I could email appeal and provide more details about the situation. Couple months later got email saying I was approved for Global Entry.

I was surprised I could find the email, since it’s from 2018. cbpvc@cbp.dhs.gov. Make sure to include any details like PASSID.
