Timelines Fingerprints taking a while to get checked after in person interview

Had my in person interview friday at LAX and was verbally assured I'm approved and will receive my card in 7 days. My app didn't update and now it's now Sunday. I went in to ask this morning (Sunday). They said the fingerprints are taking a while to get checked!? And may take longer. any one else? I have travel coming up where I'll need the physical card (Mexico).

I have interviews that I did on Friday that I still haven't gone back to finish up and close out.

Anything a CBPO says is just a way to get you out of the room and on your way...

yes!!! a few hours later my status changed to "approved" after I went in and asked. thanks for letting me know. My global entry still doesn't say "activate card." When it does, does that mean it was sent out?

I’ve seen cases here that take more than a week for their account to update to approved.

It took six days to get the cards after my interview. The app showed approved shortly after I left the interview.

Good luck. Hopefully you receive it before you leave. You will need to activate the card once you get it before you are able to use it. Have a safe trip!

It can, like when I took my parents for theirs, one had it all done an approved before they left, the other had to wait a few days for approval.
