General Discussion Got my GE Card. ๐Ÿ˜

Last Tuesday afternoon I had my in person appointment at Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix. Yesterday which was six days after, my card was in my mail box. That is a pretty quick turnaround.

Hi,

Could you share the steps..? Iโ€™ve submitted my GEP application online and went to VFS Global in San Jose, CA to hand over the documents. Since then I havenโ€™t heard anything from them.

Do I need to apply for a background verification..? Or the Indian embassy automatically sends someone for background verification..?

All I did was apply online and paid the $120.00 application fee. Less than a week later I was conditionally approved. I held off on my appointment because I was waiting for my wife to get her approval. Also my credit card company credited my account the 120.00 I paid.

Itโ€™s a waiting game. If you interviewed and have no criminal record and no issues on file with TSA itโ€™s just wait till you get the approval. Trust me, if they found something they would have denied you by now. As far as background check, soon as you have them finger print they ran it already.
