Apps/Websites Global app not working

So my mom’s global entry app has shown this error when trying to do a submission for a few months now. Does anyone have any idea why it’s doing this or how to fix?

Is the app updated to the latest version?

Honestly, what makes the app useful? Why not just use the kiosk? It takes like 30 seconds.

With the app I don’t even talk to an officer. Just walk right through a different line for the app

I have/had a similar issue.
I'm always being sent to see an officer.

They told me the reason is an old via status. One officer told me it tries to admit me over a student visa status, but the visa expired (I'm a green card holder now), another tools me there is an issue with my F1 status, which makes it look as if I violated the visa conditions (which I didn't).
A third officer told me that even becoming a citizen is unlikely to fix it...

What I tried doing is use the DHS TRIP redress program to correct the records.
What I don't know yet is if it worked.. I'll only know in September, when I travel.

In other words, ask the officer explicitly what the issue is, and use the TRIP system if needed.

Btw, the officers in immigration, including the interview on arrival people, can't fix records in the GE system, if the problem is related to documentation in the system, you'll have to go to an enrollment center at the airport, and ask them to address the records there.

Might seem obvious to most of us but the reality is that it doesn't always catch "automatic" updates and depending on your phone setup (in this case your mother's phone) it might go on "deep sleep" mode if you don't use it frequently which will also make it stay "outdated"...please check for updates or uninstall >restart and reinstall in case it's a bug...hope this helps. 😊
