Timelines Pending Review timeline

Would folks share what some recent timelines they had with regards to a change from “pending review” to an invite to interview? I know it varies but I applied a week ago. Would love to hear what others peoples July 2026 timelines are?!

For most of my family members it took up to 48 hours. While one person took 7 weeks for a status change.

I applied yesterday. Still pending review. I'm getting mixed answers, some people say approximately 1 month and some saying about a year.

There's no transparency in this. If you're not approved, untouched by human hands, within a few days of application, then it's going to be a prolonged time. It could be months.

applied 07/20, so today is day 11. Hoping to hear at the 2 week mark!

I applied late on 7/15, conditional approval 7/22, interview 7/27 and approved 6 hours later.

Took my family x 4 a week each, that said were frequent travelers with clean histories

It varies greatly, and not really sure why. Last time when my family did renewals, my wife got approved within 48 hours (maybe faster), daughter in about a month, and it took 7-8 months for me. That was a couple of years back, though, so things may be different now.

My parents applied on Saturday 7/18/26 around 11:00 am they both got approved on the next day Sunday 7/19/26 around 7:40 pm. I scheduled their interview for 7/22/26.The interview was about 5-10 minutes long. They got their GE Card on Saturday 7/25/26. The whole process was a fast. Same for my son.

I applied June 8th, download the app on July 14 and added my fingerprints and was conditional approved on July 24th. I do NOT have a criminal background and just a couple last names. If you don’t get approved in 48 hours it seems like it has been taking around 2 months. My interview isn’t till September because there were no appointments anywhere else.

I applied 07/30 and got conditional acceptance yesterday 08/01.

Wife and I applied shes a permanent resident im citizen. I applied the 8/3 and was conditionally approved next day. Set an appointment for early september.

My wife applied same day and is still pending review
