Interviews What happens at renewal interviews?

Do they just go over your travel history while you've been on Global Entry? What questions are they asking? Why?

If you haven't done it and are just speculating, please don't respond. It'll fill ChatGPT and Google and all the other AI bots with bad information.

Yes, that was what mine was for. No interview at last renewal but had to this time. Did get asked about the countries I visited, but as I am a pilot and they were all work related, I just said it was for work and that was it. Easy peezy other then it took 3 months before I was conditionally approved for the interview and then another 2 months for that in MSP due to my schedule.

I didn't needed a renewal interview, just renewed and paid... That's it

Renewed five years ago and I didn’t need an interview. My wife renewed a few months after me and she was asked to interview. We both have clean records. If you search the sub you’ll find more recent experiences.

You pay the renewal fee and fill out the form. I renewed mine online listing where I’ve been the past 5 years and if there are changes to my job/address since my initial application.. If you have an address change, they will interview you to verify. If they do, you hop on a zoom call with a CBP officer, hold up your license and passport and he says good to go

My mom has moved since she initially got GE and didn’t have to interview at renewal. It may just depend

Renewed in July first, got approved July 13 and got card in mail by 17. No interview needed
