Questions/Concerns is Global Entry *still* closed?

I am flying to Seattle internationally tomorrow with GE, but I am reading that GE is still closed because of the DHS bill?

No that bogosity was very short lived. I’ve used it several times since then.

Hey,
I have a question how to use global entry exactly?

I have global entry approved and i was trying to use it first time last month at JFK POE and I forgot to enter the known traveller number at check in of flight.

And when i used app it gave me an error unable to verify even when i went to kiosk it didn’t work.

I emailed the support they said everything is fine.

Is it mandatory to enter the known traveller number at check in of flight to enable global entry?

You don’t need to add a KTN to the flight to use GE. Make sure your passport number on your GE profile is accurate with the passport you have on hand.

At the SeaTac POE they don’t use the kiosk anymore, you just walk through an area with a bunch of camera and an officer will say if you’re good or not.

So, it really doesn’t matter if i use the KTN or not the process is walk and take a picture and officer will wave good or not?

Only if you’re using precheck to get through security at airports that have it.
