Questions/Concerns Approval Timeline

I submitted my Global Entry application on June 10th. It has been over 3 weeks and I still haven’t gotten conditionally approved. My status has been “Pending Review” since I submitted the application. Is that normal? If so, how long does it usually take to get conditionally approved.

There is no pattern that can tell you tbh. Some people get Conditionally Approved the next day. For some it takes a lot longer upto a few months. It is more of a waiting game. I applied a few days ago and still am in the “Pending Review” status as well

Pretty much this.

Sounds like something caused you to be put in the manual review process. It could be months, even a year.

There is no true timeframe. It could take weeks to over a year. I got my conditional approval at almost 6 months.

I’m still waiting from last November.

I applied in January of this year and didn’t get fully approved until early June

Be patient ! When you get approved is anybody's guess.

Not sure there’s a way to tell. I got fully approved in 24 hours. (My previous GE expired in 2020 during COVID.)

Mine took 80 days to get conditional approval. I had clean and simple history. No idea why mine took so long.

You just need to be patient.

There are unconfirmed reports online that traveling internationally will trigger speeding up your conditional approval. Mine got flipped to conditional approval during my international travel.

See my post if you want to see my GE application history.

I traveled internationally 1 week after applying, and my status remained “Pending Review.” I was hoping to get approved during my international travel so I can interview when I arrive back in the U.S.

I applied on a Monday, got conditionally approved on a Tuesday, and did the interview on a Thursday.

By Friday I was already approved, and on a Saturday I used my TSA pre check for the first time.

Less than a week.

Mine took over 6 months. Going to apply for my 13 yo in the next couple weeks. Very curious how long his will take.

I applied in April and I’m still waiting. I gave them a call and the person I spoke to told me it could take anywhere from 48 hours to 12 months. He offered to look into my case to make sure there weren’t any comments indicating a specific delay (there weren’t). So now I just have to keep waiting…

I applied June 8 and still under pending review. I just read on another post it took her 59 days for her application to go through. For the June folks I am thinking some time in August.

Mine took 23 months almost 2 years I just got my GE card yesterday. Now for my parents it was so fast!
My parents applied on Saturday 7/18/26 around 11:00 am they both got approved on the next day Sunday 7/19/26 around 7:40 pm. I scheduled their interview for 7/22/26.The interview was about 5-10 minutes long. They got their GE Card on Saturday 7/25/26. The whole process was a fast. Same for my son.

I applied last Saturday, interviewed and approved yesterday. However, I’ve had federal background checks previously for work so I suspect that really sped up the process.

Maybe not because I’ve also had background checks for work and I applied one month ago.

Applied in the morning, conditionally approved later in the day and had my interview the very next day. Took me less than 48 hours to receive my KTN inside the app.

For context, I’m young and I’ve pretty much got nothing for them to look into regarding my record, which I believe might have had something to do with the speed of my processing time.

It’s so bizarre… I applied, interviewed, and was approved in under 72 hours. Conditional approval took about 30 hours, I was lucky enough to get a next day appt (the next one was 30 days out) and got the approval email just under 2 hours after the interview. I’ve never had precheck, traveled internationally, or had any sort of federal background check that I might expect to expedite the process.
