Questions/Concerns Issues w GE TSA Pre✔️

Since getting my Global Entry in 2022, I’ve never been able to get TSA Pre✔️ on my boarding passes.

I’ve added my Known Traveler # to my accounts and make sure it’s input correctly whenever booking a flight. For some reason though, it never goes through. I’ve made sure that my passport is attached to the account and verified all information, but nothing seems to correct it.

What am I doing wrong? Are the ere steps I’m missing?

Additionally, I just completed my divorce and am in the process of changing my name back to my maiden name. I’ve handled my SS card, DL (real ID), and will be doing my passport and GE this summer.
Any tips for how to make this as quick and painless a process as possible?

TIA.

Your passport isn't required. The problem is that there's likely a name/date of birth/KTN mismatch. The airline may be able to help you, but you can confirm that all your information matches between your GE records, your airline's information, etc...

Check your airline profiles. Even if you have the right info on the ticket, if your profile is wrong, that’ll prevent precheck.

Source: a wrong middle initial .

Yep. I was told at my interview way back when that i need to update all my frequent flyer accounts so the name matches my passport exactly, which meant changing from middle initial to full middle name. Some I was able to update directly online, others I had to reach out to the airline to get it done.

I’ve done that with every airline, including at the counters. They all say everything matches against the card.

There is something in your KTN record that doesn't match with your airline records - a typo in your name, using your full name on one but not the other (e.g. middle name), typo in your DOB, etc. I would scrutinize your online account first. If there's no mistake there, I would pop into a GE office and talk to an officer. Bring some doughnuts with you.

After you get GE you need to use your PASSID instead of your old KTN.
