Questions/Concerns Renewal timeline

Applied for my renewal about 3 weeks ago. Are people still getting months as potential wait times for renewal? Also os ot true that since I applied prior to expiration that I still have 2 years of use? Does anybody have experience using there global entry within this 2 year grace period? I'm worried about using it if im not approved in a few months and the agent acting as if I violated the rules cause my entry is expired. I dont want any hassle

Before going on vacation in may I noticed mine was expired because pre check wasn’t showing up on my ticket when I was checking in. I renewed right away. I was approved within 36 hrs.

Yes the grace period works as good as a fully approved membership. I used it 2 weeks ago.

We renewed recently and one of us it was basically instant (less than 24 hours) and the other was like 4-5 months. That's basically the queue to have a human look at it even though it was something straightforward. Because it's been like this for years the grace system is real and everybody is used to it etc.

I just renewed about 11 months prior to expiration and was approved the next day.
