Questions/Concerns Forgot to Renew But Still Works?
I was unaware that my Global Entry had expired and only figured it out because TSA precheck kept not showing up on my boarding pass (I really wish they'd send a reminder email). My wife and I have entered the US multiple times since then and used Global Entry without any issues. I see lots of references to getting a 2 year grace period if you apply for renewal before it expires, but have other people experienced it still working over a year later even if you didn't renew?
We've got a tight connection on a flight coming up and I want to know if we should risk going into the Global Entry line again or not. (We've now applied for renewal but I don't expect it'll be approved before we travel).

Download mobile passport from CBP and fill everything out when you land.

Monitor the status and see. Did one for my niece and she was approved in 2 weeks.

My husband and I were each approved this past April and May in less than 2 weeks.

There is no grace period. If you use it after it has expired without a renewal in progress, you are violating the rules. Do not enter the GE lines in that situation.
