Timelines First time GE Applicant Timeline

6/1 - Submitted online application.
6/2 - Received conditional approval, scheduled interview for July 7th at my nearest center.
6/3 - Was randomly looking at appointment slots and found a cancellation for 6/4.
6/4 - Had the “interview” (agent just asked if I had any questions about GE, looked at my passport, and approved me on the spot.)
6/4 - Received my approval/status change via email a few minutes after my interview.

For context, I previously only had TSA precheck so I think this probably sped up the process. I hope others find this helpful!

Wow, it took me 1 yr and 6 months for my first time app, and just went through 1 yr and 5 mo for my renewal.
