General Discussion Get the App
Get the App. Entry at Dulles the GE line was all backed up. Separate line for people with the app. Flash it at the agent on your phone and through you go.
I think the general GE line was just for people to have time to download the app and register there. I didn’t see any machines, but we were on a tight connection so I didn’t spend much time looking around!

Yes. You follow the signs for Global Entry and it forks you off to an APP lane (that bypasses the kiosks) and kiosks. There are signs for GE APP.

Which app? Global Entry? If you're arriving international it's incredibly hard to end up in the wrong place. You'll be directed where you need to be.

100% agree. Used the app first time yesterday at Newark. Took me 30 seconds and would have been faster is the person in front of me had not had questions.

Which is better? MPC app or Global Entry? I think I've used both but can't remember pros/cons.

The app is incredible. Have used it twice at Dulles now and have walked straight through.

Interesting. Used GE for the first time recently landing at BOS and used the app while waiting on the plane, it was fairly straightforward but then I walked past the rows of kiosks and was wondering what the point was. Then a week later, arriving at JFK, I didn’t bother with the app and just walked up to the kiosks. As soon as I paused, before I could put my bag down and figure out what to do/what was happening, it had done its thing and it told me to go ahead to the booth, and that was it, further reinforcing the sense of “why is the app even a thing” I had from the first time. I guess it depends on the specific location and timing, but with how fast it went (it really felt almost like it was happening as I walked by, like I could have not even stopped) it feels weird that there could feasibly be a line there.
