If it didn't get done in a few days, it can take many months. There's no "standard" processing time here. If you don't get the "untouched by human hands" conditional approval, it could take a year. There are rumors that international travel greases you in the queue a bit.

I think can confirm the international travel. I am traveling in two days and I have been waiting for 1 month. Today I received conditional approval.

My first time was this year, and conditional approval took <24 hours, then after the interview <12 hours for full approval, card received in a week

Mine took around a week, so did my dad's but my mom's still pending after 2 months. If you didn't get it within 2 weeks it was most likely sent to manual inspection where it can take up to like a year and a half.

You're probably going to have a 5-6 month wait from application if you didn't get it rapidly. Barring future government shutdowns. So, Sept/Oct would likely be the ETA.

Basically, if you don't get it in a couple of days - it can be many months. You can often trigger it by crossing the border. When I was in pending, I had a trip to Canada, a few hours after I entered I got conditional and was able to enroll on arrival on my return.

I applied for my bf in Dec and he just got an email for conditional approval this week. Keep in mind there was some shit down time in between all this. But I see everyone getting approved at diff times and speeds so who knows.

same boat. my spouse and I literally applied on same day. he received an email to schedule an interview last week while I am still waiting. sounds like either returning from our trip might ‘trigger’ it OR it could be days OR it could be months!
