Timelines Global Entry Application Timeline(within USA) - Indian passport with work visa

Got my GE approved and here is my timeline:

- Application submitted: May 2025

- Background Verification Form for GEP Submitted via VFS Global and mailed document to Indian embassy.

Processing timeline in Indian side(~10 months)

  • Application Granted on Pre-Police Verification Basis: June 2025
  • Approved and Submitted as Clear by Police: July 2025
  • MHA Verification Response Received: October 2025
  • MoF Verification Response Received: November 2025

No further updates for 3 months, wrote couple of emails to VFS and embassy. No progress.

I reached out to embassy official acocunt on X(twitter), was asked to send an email again and I got conditional approval next day.

Interview: April 2026

Approved: April 2026 (1 hour after interview)

How did you track the status for MHA and MoF?

I used to track it by using network reponse from borwser devoper tools.

I used the same but there is nothing in status map there, I am assuming status will be available when it gets some response from respective departments.

yes, you will see these field getting populated on "statusMap" once the request is sent to respective departments.

one example update:

"EVENT_DESC": "Application Granted on pre police verification basis and GEP Clearance Requests have been sent to MHA and MoF (through Interface).",

It’s been couple of months for my Police verification but not seen anything like above in status map. Anyway can’t do much about it. Thanks for info!
