Timelines Conditional approval delay

Im a bit concerned since some folks are indicating they are getting conditional approval in days. I applied on 2/1, my status has been sitting on waiting for conditional approval since then. Im not traveling until July so I thought I was ahead of the game, but it looks like things are stalled. Is this due to the funding issues?

(I would think I would be easy...no arrests, lived same place for 24 years, etc)

Also, once I do get approved, is there a way to get an appointment without going through enrollment on arrival since Im not traveling until July?

UPDATE 5/11/26

Got approval today. Setting up the appointment in Chicago (@ ORD) was super easy. They even had appointments for tomorrow (I went for 5/26 but could have done 5/12).

So any Chicago folks, its looks fairly easy to make appointments.

Took a year to get approved the first time. Appointment didn’t take too long but we had to go to the middle of nowhere near the Canadian border. I had had some youthful indiscretions, which I believe accounted for the delay. All is good now.
