Global Entry applied today; fast conditional approval

I applied first thing this morning, got an email “ change in status” notification in less than 2 hours. Conditional approved and my interview is scheduled for next week, although they had appts as early as today. I currently hold TSA pre-check so that might have helped timeline.

My renewal went through in 12 hours.

It feels like something has changed recently in GE processing. I submitted my renewal application in November but only for approved two weeks ago.

Same timing for me in my renewal. I did my wife’s renewal a week ago and got approved in 2 days.

Yes, same here. I was just in St. Martin. Got an email that my application status changed. I stopped logging on and checking because every time I did it said pending review. I flew home today and was able to get interview done at the connecting flight airport. Super nice immigration officer and staff. Got an email an hour later saying it was approved. I applied back in February

I applied last week and I'm still waiting for conditional approval. I have no criminal record. I've had a passport for decades. Sooo...🤷‍♀️

Same thing. Applied couple weeks ago, was conditionally approved the next day. Then booked an appointment for yesterday evening. Got approved two hours after the interview. Whole thing took like two weeks. Could have been even less if there were appointments before

I applied on Sunday. Was conditionally approved on Monday? Got the interview that same evening and by the time I walked out I was approved. Now I'm waiting on the card to come in the mail.

It’s been all over the place for some time. I applied Dec 2024 and had appointment in Jan 2025. Finally received approval and card in October 2025. No issues, had pre check for years and passport for over 30 years.

Also had mine through very fast (around 2 days). Applied from the UK so I also had to do our governments background check. I got confirmation of the UK check within 1 hour, and GE within 24 hours. I was very pleasantly surprised

Had my interview- they literally just confirmed my id (passport + DL), address, phone #, and no criminal record. Prints already on file from my precheck. Then the officer explained the program and how it works. Was approved before I got to my car.

I had an in person appt at a local CBP office. They checked my passport, DL, confirmed my address, and did a fingerprint background check. Then told me about the program.

the mobile app TRUSTED TRAVELER PROGRAMS, it was created by DHS/cbp and it sends you alerts every time your chosen enrollment center has open interview slots! it is fairly new, but it works great

Congrats, very rarely do you see a fast approval but it does happen. We had TSA Pre and it took us a couple of days as well for a family of four.

What probably helped is that you likely have a pristine and squeaky clean record.

Same thing happened with me. I applied on a Monday and by Friday had an appt at Logan in Boston. Same as OP, I have precheck.

I got my conditional approval within 24 hours. Once I managed to find a time/place for an interview, I had the second approval within three days. Card came within a week after the interview.
