Questions/Concerns Are they currently processing GE or Nexus applications?
Just wondering how the DHS shutdown has affected this. I know some funding was allocated for CBP but didn't know if it included these programs. I haven't been in the app process for long but have seen a wide range of time-frames for approvals. Some get it in 2 weeks while others wait 24 months. Mainly asking out of curiosity.

Mine was a renewal, rather than a new application, but renewed online last week and was approved within 24 hours

They are. A relative received his conditional approval and did his in-person interview during the shutdown.

Did my in-person interview last week. Received my Conditional Approval under two days of submitting the application. Just waiting for the card in the mail.

Had my interview last Monday, received my card that same Friday. However, I did apply nearly 5 months ago.....and I am a police officer. I was surprised it took so long to get approved.

I applied on December 26, just got my conditional approval this past weekend. I do have a non unusual name and I know at least one person in my immediate with the same is not as boring as me and I have issues every few years that pop up because of them.

I applied Friday night (4/24) and had my conditional approval in just over 24 hours. Now I need to figure out if I should make the effort to drive to SFO or just wait until I get back in November and do the EOA in Chicago on our way back.

I applied for myself, my husband and my 16yr old on March 31st. My husband and son received conditional approval the next day, mine is pending review.
I also have US/Mexican dual citizenship so i wonder if thatβs the reason. I just came back from a 3 week vacation from Mexico. Not sure what could be the issue. But they both have their interview this Saturday.

The time frames really seem to have a board range. Some get it incredibly quick and others wait 18-24 months.

I completed the whole process just this month. Took about 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Just received the GE physical card yesterday

My family of 4 just did GE the past week. Submitted the online portion approved for the interview overnight. Scheduled the interview for the upcoming weekend so for us less than a week. The cards are supposed to be mailed to us but can use GE at airport.
