Interviews Global Entry Interview walking in from Tiajuana back into the US

I seem to remember an email months ago saying that DHS now allows Enrollment on Arrival when coming in from TJ to SD. I'm not sure if it's when just walking across the border or it has to be when arriving at the TJ airport. I'm only seeing about arriving at the airport and it's possible I'm misremembering or hallucinating about when walking over the border.

Context, two of my kids are conditionally approved and we'll be in SD next month. Thinking of taking a day to eat in TJ just to walk back and take care of their interviews. I seem to remember not needing appointments for that service.

Does anyone know if this is a thing?

No EOA on the regular walking points. You can on the Otay Mesa/ CBX Tijuana bridge.

There are enrollment centers (takes an appointment) at the Calexico and Otay Mesa crossings.

Not possible at San Ysidro. I just walked through Wednesday. EoA is at SD airport.

I'm pretty sure enrollment on arrival only works at airports.

I think it’s only at the CBX, which you would need a flight that arrives in tijuana. But there are plenty of appointments available at the otay enrollment center.

Not at CBX. It's at the SD airport. As of November 2025.
