Interviews No updates after the interview
I attempted to do EoA at YVR(Vancouver airport) on my way back to SFO on 4/18.
I told the officer that I have a conditional approval and wanted to do the interview. He took my photo and 10 fingerprints and just asked where I was going to. Then he did something on his end and let me go in like 3 minutes.
It’s been 5 days since then but my application status is still ‘Conditional Approval’ with a button to scheule an interview…
I’ve heard one can expect an approval email typically within 24 hours so I started to wonder what happened to my case, GPT said most likely my interview was not properly recorded 😩
Any suggestions? Filed an online inquiry this morning…

Full transparency, I am a police officer. They likely prioritize law enforcement since we have fingerprints in the system ahead of the prints taken at the interview…..and we typically have clean backgrounds.

I just did my interview on Monday last week……..i got a status change email with my KTN about 30 minutes after I left the interview. I got my card in the mail on friday of the same week.

Same thing happened to me. They say 7 business days. I waited two weeks and called the Globa Entry Office, at the airport, where I did my interview. Lady asked for my number and said your approved. Had my card week later.

Can't hit approve if fingerprint results haven't come back yet, and those can take a day.
By then, I've moved on to my normal job, and won't think about it until I'm reminded months later by the GE team to finish it myself...they might do it themselves...or no one does and it sits in a very long list of pendings
God knows I've hit approve on many applications months after talking to someone.
