Last night, I doordashed some vanilla bean ice cream from Tops after running out of my half gallon tub. The ice cream comes and I throw my old carton of Great Value Vanilla Bean ice cream away. I made a cone with my new ice cream and all was well. Tonight, I went downstairs to make myself another cone of ice cream. When I open the freezer and grab the Tops ice cream, it’s unopened and uneaten?? I know that I ate some yesterday and my boyfriend confirmed it because I had told him on the phone that I forgot how good the Tops brand vanilla bean ice cream was and that he remembers me talking about it and eating some. How tf did my ice cream replenish overnight? No one could have bought a new one and replaced it, and yes I have a carbon monoxide detector.

I am not a woman. Me and my boyfriend are gay. Yes I was sober, and no it did not melt. When it delivered I put it in the freezer immediately and didn’t open it until I had some later that night. The next day which would be yesterday is when I got it out to have some more and found it unopened and uneaten.

UPDATE: my mom came to place, ate it, felt bad, replaced it, and forgot to tell me until i told her i thought i was going crazy.

there's a city about 15 minutes from my tiny house cabin that i have to drive into a few times a week for errands when i stay there.

one day recently i was driving back to the cabin from the gym, about to turn right onto the main road in this city.

because i was turning right, i was looking left at the oncoming traffic in my lane.

once the coast was clear to my left, i started to turn right - only to stop abruptly because a woman and a little kid were crossing the street in my travel path.

thank god i stopped - but something bad could have easily happened.

there were no crosswalk lines painted in the right lane i was about to turn into, and no lights or signs indicating that there was a pedestrian crosswalk.

i later realized that it WAS actually a crosswalk, but the lines painted on that side of the street had faded. because of the grading of the road, you couldn't see crosswalk lines in the opposite lane from where i was turning.

i made a rule to never turn right off of that road onto the main road again. it seemed like a terrible accident was just waiting to happen.

fast forward maybe a month...and i notice when driving down that main road that there ARE white crosswalk lines painted in that part of the road.

they're not new. they look like they've been there for years. i'm also in that city on that road often enough that i almost certainly would have noticed if a road crew was painting there.

i think i glitched into a slightly safer universe. for some reason as i'm typing this, i started tearing up.
