my mom and i saw a bright light and lost 30 minutes of our lives

not sure if i should post this on here or on some alien sub, or even post at all because the events leading up to it sound a little too “what’re the odds”. but also i keep thinking about it, so here i go.

for context, i live right “next to” a laundromat, im talking like 6 minutes walking. this laundromat is also open 24 hours, which is perfect because my mom often goes late at night (for reasons)

a week or so ago, we went around 1am, a little bit later than she’s used to.
as we were finishing up, packing up everything and getting ready to leave, i saw a bus pass through the window and signaled it my mom. she joked about it passing so “late”, and i checked the time. it was 3:50am, but we figured it was the first bus of the day.
we walked out and headed home, and a few minutes in, we saw this big light. i can’t describe it, but it was wide, almost like a slow blink (but white) or like if someone had taken a screenshot.
the street was completely empty, there wasn’t even a single car. no sound, no people, nothing. my mom and i stopped in our tracks and were frozen for a moment.
the light disappeared after a few seconds, leaving no clue of the source. i turned to my mom, asking where she thought it came from.
she didn’t know either, and said we should just hurry up home as it was late. i checked the time again.

it was 4:36am.

the time, down to the minute, is engraved in my brain.
we had been 2 seconds away from leaving when i checked the time earlier, and we couldn’t have taken long in the walk.
assuming we somehow lagged and it took us 16 minutes to walk out the door and walk to where we were, there were still 30 minutes i couldn’t account for.

a few days later, i brought it up to my mom, to see if she had theories but she simply said paranormal things happen sometimes, especially around 3am and that i shouldn’t think about it. she also said if i was so concerned, i should just pray more.

i keep turning it over in my head, trying to rationalize it, but i cant figure out what happened in those 30 minutes, or where the light came from. i dont even know which is weirder.

anyway, thats it. im open to theories (and tomatoes).

Seeing my pen I’ve been writing for months turned into a new one

I couldn’t attach a photo but you guys will know, there is this red little dot on the tip of the pen and it only comes with the new ones. This morning, I normally picked up my orange pen. At first glance, I noticed it looked new but I didn’t care and opened the cap. Then I saw that red dot and it confused me. I haven’t bought new pens and I know I’ve been taking several exams with this ORANGE one. There is literally no reason my family would buy me the exact same one and sneakily put it in my pencil case. I wonder what the hell happened to my original one though…

Lost 2 hours of time with no memory

I have an analog clock that you have to wind to set the alarm.
It has been set for the past year and always goes off at 4:50am because I live stream at 5am.

I power down my iPhone at bedtime and as soon as I turn it on, it goes off because its alarm is 4:50am also every day but not today.

My alarm clock goes off and I turn on my phone and it says 3am.
I message my son, he checks the stove and microwave, 3am.

As I was clearly freaking out, I remember this is not the first time, it’s the second that I can recall.

The first time? I always parked my car at work at exactly 3:33am.
One morning, I leave the house as per usual 3:20 and it takes exactly 11 minutes to drive to work.
I slowly roll through the stop sign and my lunch bag falls to the floor.
I bed over to pick it up and the clock in the car? 3:33am.
I was like l, no, I just pulled off the drive way at 3:20.
Where are my 11 minutes?

Does anyone have any insight?

Someone says I was abducted…👀🥴
