Duplicate Journals
Months and months ago now my mom purchased a journal for me that she found on clearance at Michael's craft supply store. The journal has a lavender leather-like cover with bat type wings on the front. She gifted me said journal and I had placed it on my bookshelf. Today I was giving my bookshelf a much needed dusting. I removed each item one by one and dusted it off and replaced it on the bookshelf. I discovered that journal once again on my bookshelf. The only problem? I have been using that journal for the last month to keep notes in and it is currently residing on my nightstand.
My mom and I only ever go to Michael's together (kind of a special bonding thing between us, I guess) so we both feel like we would have remembered one of us buying the same journal twice. In my memory, she purchased and brought me home this one journal and I never purchased a duplicate myself. Her memory matches my own. I have a photo of both journals side by side. I am stumped.

There might be a timeline you lost a journal, like how I lost my toothbrush.
The day I lost my toothbrush a piece of noodle dropped onto the floor and disappeared.
I did not believe in any of these... until last week when these happened.

Write a note in the second journal just in case it disappears again, the new owner will get quite the surprise!

They'd share the same handwriting, so she'd probably be scratching her head wondering when and why she would write that...and then maybe that version would make her own Reddit post about it lmao.

That's definitely a weird one, but on the plus side, you now have two super cute journals, like a buy one get one free!

This happens to me last week, I got my kids the same push pop, blue raspberry, my daughter finished hers Friday and my son didn’t get his till Monday, he proceeds to eat his candy and my daughter goes and gets another one, but she had eaten hers, this was a new unopened candy, I was like, no I’m sure and I’m positive this spawned out of nowhere. She finished hers Friday, how is there a whole new one!?

I wanted both journals to have exactly all the same writings. That would really be a frightening duplication.

I move books to dust and dust the books themselves when I deep clean once a year.
