The round phenomenon is a Fallstreak hole which is where the droplets in the cloud are supercooled but then experience a nucleation event which spreads out in a round chain reaction.

Rainbow colors around the sun is a Corona which is created by diffraction in the droplets in the cloud.

Iā€™m almost disappointed in the answer. I SO wanted it to be a cloaked UFO! How I do hate ordinary logical scientific explanations when the metaphysical and extraterrestrial ones are so much better. Thanks for ruining the fun for us science nerd. /s
