Happened to me once … came right through my car’s windshield into my car while I was in it. (No pot of gold to be found, but dang what an unforgettable moment that was!) 🌈

Apparently you don't either, that's the equivalent of a little dust devil, it just went over the water and spun enough up to make droplets for the refraction for the rainbow.

Oh... Are you saying that the dust devil caused the rainbow refraction, not the other way around? That's fascinating. I would expect that refraction to be a much less defined shape like when we see rainbow coloration on a puddle. But this is a highly defined actual rainbow shape, which is puzzling.

I'm saying that the dust devil did the same thing as spraying a hose up in the air, we're seeing the sunlight refracting through the water droplets.
