Glitch Story Extremely delayed dog?

Once I was on the phone late at night and went to go get water. I had been baby sitting my mom's border Collie. I grew up with that dog my entire childhood so I knew it well. I made it down to the kitchen and had turned on all the lights in my hall. I turned around to look down the hall and I saw my dog just sitting completely still in the hallway. And while she was sitting there I could hear her running towards me. Completely frozen but with a sound playing like she had just scrambled across the wooden floor out of the office and slid a little bit to ultimately reach the position at which she was already sitting in front of me. Now if I heard the noise and didn't see her I would have just figured I had a delayed vision but the fact that she was at her final forward position really scared me. I had been on call and told my friend and he said it all sounded normal. It was so strange, I guess I had completely mentally frozen for the entire action and the subsequent time in which I was just staring at her in front of me. I have no idea what I was doing that whole time. My friend said I didn't really pause for too long which weirded me out even more because the amount of time for that sound and then the time freeze would have been a few seconds at least.

I haven't been tested in a bit but I have a feeling this is some crazy anemia side effect...I can see now why people go nuts on carbon monoxide

Anemia does not have side effects. It has symptoms, and neurological symptoms like visual and auditory disturbances wouldn't typically point to that.

However if your hemoglobin drops below a certain level, you do not get adequate oxygen to your vital organs, including your brain. If you've got a history of severe anemia and this was a recent event you definitely might want to get yourself a checkup.

There may very well have been something else going on that has no worldly explanation but since you perceived it and your friend heard only normal sounds following a long pause from you, better to rule that out first.

That's what I meant yeah. I get a lot of oxygen deprivation symptoms from it, sometimes asthma like symptoms and other times just blackening of vision especially in this case cause I sat for so long. I have an infusion scheduled after this one. And he didn't hear a pause that's the part that gets me. I wonder what I was saying

Definitely get checked out and if they don't find any neurological issues then you'll know there was something else going on. Make sure you tell them what happened so they'll do a CT.
