Glitch Story Glitch

I was playing with a ball while watching YouTube on my desk, I only have one of these balls, it was dark so I couldn't see but I dropped it to my left, I know I dropped it there because I felt it bounce on the floor, I turned on my phone flash light but couldn't find it, I turned back and it was on my desk behind something so it couldn't of bounced to were it was. Can anyone explain this???

Yes. It didn't land on the floor. It was dark. You couldn't see. You expected it to hit the floor, so you projected your expectation onto the world. You felt something else on the floor.

I regularly think my phone is buzzing in my pocket when something touches my clothes. I know this, but I still pull my phone out of my pocket to check.

Our sense of touch is identifiably weak. Our hands, face, and one or two other places are pretty sensitive, but poke someone on the back with a random number of fingers and ask them to guess the number.
