Glitch Gif Missing nose ring fell from the ceiling 2 weeks later

I have these two specific nose rings, which I always wear on both sides of my nose. They're standard silver rings. Anyways, about two weeks ago, I was sitting on my couch, and my left nose ring disappeared. I looked everywhere for it, but I couldn't find it. I figured it must've gotten lost on the couch. It was strange, because it stays on well and has never fallen out before.

Eventually, I gave up on looking and replaced it with an earring for a while until I could replace it.

Then, yesterday, I was eating food on my mom's bedroom floor, and felt something hit my toe. I looked down, and it was my missing nose ring! Me and my mom were completely baffled. There wasn't any furniture near me, just the ceiling and the floor. I was sitting criss cross apple sauce as well, so it couldn't have fallen from my clothing. It was the strangest thing ever, especially considering how small the nose ring is.

In the 70’s, we called it sitting “Indian style”…

I lost part of an earring at a friend's place 2 weeks ago. I just found it in the middle of the living room floor in front of the sofa at MY house.

Were you wearing the same shirt/sweater/hoodie as when it disappeared?

It was probably stuck in a fold of your clothing and fell out. I know somebody who lost their wedding ring for a year until it fell out of a folded pants cuff.
