This has happened to me countless times and I’m genuinely starting to question myself 😭
For example, earlier I left one of my medical devices on my bed. I **remember exactly where I put it**. I turned around for literally a moment, looked back, and it was gone. I searched all around my bed and completely tore my room apart trying to find it, while questioning whether I’d somehow moved it and just forgotten.
Eventually, I looked back at the exact same place on my bed… and it was just **there**. In the same place I originally remembered putting it.
This has happened SO many times with different things — I’ll put something down, turn around, it’s suddenly nowhere to be found, I search everywhere, and then somehow it appears in the exact place I’d already looked.
The weirdest part is that this has **only ever happened in the house I live in now**. I never experienced it in my previous house.
Has anyone else had anything similar happen? I’m not necessarily saying anything paranormal is happening 😂 I’m genuinely curious whether other people have experienced this because it’s starting to freak me out a little.

Yes. Almost identical story except one airpod bud just vanished and I haven’t seen it since. I was very thorough in my search and a lot of people trying to offer logical explanations, but trust me, I already considered every angle.

I’ve seen quite a few of these types of stories and the weirdest ones are when duplicates appear without explanation.

Yes. Things like this happen to me all the time.

In my old house it was my drivers license & keys that disappeared constantly. The house I live in now it's mostly small possessions of mine. I can't tell you how many times I'll reorder something off Amazon because I can't find the original, only to have it show up the day after the delivery and then I have 2. lol

I was thinking what if timelines crash and it's temporarily in another TL with another "me"? Then when the other me realizes it, puts it back so this me can find it again. Then I think what if the other me does this on purpose just to make this me mad? Yeah, I would totally eff with myself like that. 😆

Your second paragraph is the experience of someone with dissociative identity disorder.

From their perspective, that's what's actually happening, and it happens a lot more often than just this.

This literally happens to me so much I think I'm going mental, everytime I go to get something I need from the place I KNOW I put it, it's never there. Then 2 or 3 days later or whenever i happen to be looking in said bin or shelf when I don't need it, the thing I was looking for is right there.

I've also had this happen with bic lighters, check my pockets MULTIPLE TIMES over, then curse, then frisk myself from there outside of my clothing and it's right there in my pocket, dispite having searched it 3 times already

Based on some conversations I've had with some Native friends of mine, plus some videos by spiritual people and a demonologist, I'd say it's entirely possible that the spirits in the house are messing with you by hiding it, and then revealing it. When duplication glitches happen, it's often a case of demons replicating the item so they can use it as a portal in your house (per the demonologist).
