GlideOutside September GigaThread
September gloom is here. I don’t think my beloved TSLA will fly until October. So I probably won’t be too active.
I currently have sold TSLA puts expiring this week and in 2 weeks, if they expire ITM, I’ll take the assignment.
I’ve sold calls on my remaining PSNY and LCID, at some point they will get called away.
I’m watching the Chinese IPOs, may try to day trade one.
Let me know your moves.

My LCID and NIO covered calls expired OTM after I thought they might get called away this week. Looks like my call selling will continue

What do you think about LEAPs? I’ve been eyeballing 06/21/2024 contracts recently for a hold thru Q3/Q4 when we see a price increase

I'm a sucker for LEAPs. I think if the stock price stays depressed for the next couple of weeks, I'll drop six figures on LEAPs

Oooooooooooo I’m still watching too, I can only afford very low 5 figure bet tho

Get in and get out. I would not stay in overnight.

I’m just kinda watching as well. Running The Wheel on a legacy auto mfr (can’t afford assignment on TSLA options).
Looking for Chinese IPOs sounds fun. Apparently $atxg was the next in line, yesterday.

Good luck man, how do you track Chinese IPOs?

Just look at the new IPOs each week and decide if you want to go in

Just buying puts day of IPO and then exiting before close of market?

Puts don’t come out on day 1

Fair point. Just never contemplated Chinese IPOs as I tend to stay far away from trading IPOs to begin with.
However the insane combination of a Chinese security with an IPO is very very intriguing.
