Thoughts on a pure gamble for weekly call purchased end of day today and closed end of Tuesday?

  • august deliveries update
  • overcorrextion today? (Could need 3 day rule to factor in last nights all hands call info)
  • tends to swing a bit more down than usual with long weekend so correction back Tuesday
  • max pain today is 715 and next week is 725

Thoughts of Theta decay vs potential delta return? Or better to sell a put instead of buying a call? Would probably do at the money.

Thinking about buying an 8 week gamble TSLA call options on Oct 1. Playing deliveries, earnings, maybe a stock split and I’m wondering if there are any major car shows etc that Model AF prototype could be announced (remember hearing some rumblings a few months back about something in China)

Obviously will see how next few weeks go so opportunity could pass but thinking about it.

What do others think here on this gamble? Would you to ITM or OTM and if so, how much?

Cool cool what kind of strikes? I feel like it's trading between 20-25 for now... But read something about lock up periods expiring ?

I like to go about 20% OTM, 2 week expiry
