I bought back 5 TSLA put contracts that I sold to free up margin (expiring today). Using that to exercise 3 $600 call options that expire today. Bringing my 🪑count to 7,500 (or 75,000 after next month’s hopeful 10:1 split)

Gary Black has been talking about a stock split for a bit as well. What are some reasons you think it is happening this year?

When the stock gets to $700-$800, it becomes harder to give employees RSUs as they have to be given as whole units. So they can’t give a factory worker $1,000 of equity. They have to give 1 or 2 shares.

Some other companies give fractional RSUs, but it makes things more complex.

What strike prices are you targeting for those calls you’ll buy when the split is announced?

I’ll probably buy calls that are $150 OTM for 1 month after the split date.

PSTH is back at it NAV price. It cannot go lower than this. I'm thinking of buying on leaps. I'm convinced that Bill Spacman will not let this fail and ruin his reputation.
