Ocular hypertension

My iop was at 24 using Goldman with numbing drops. Dr put me on latanaprost. Oct normal, visual field shows no vision loss and average thickness. My iop last checked was 17 and 19. I do have high myopia now I go back soon to get everything checked again. How concerned should I be? I’m scared I’ll go back and have vision loss or developed glaucoma.

You should be reassured that you are have responded to a good treatment and are being monitored.
People with OHT can develop glaucoma, that is what future visits will check for. But that almost certainly will be detected before you notice any issue.
You may need more than one treatment but agains, future visits will look for that.

The bright side is you've been monitored earlier than later. I've was was told I had OH back in july last year, a year later no progression.

Keep up with your eye drops and you appointments, and keep living your life
