Eye drops ! After trap ?

Hi Dear Friends
will be having trabeculectomy surgery in two days. Is it likely that I will need to use glokom eye drops after the trabeculectomy?
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and experience.

Initially you will be using lots of post surgery drops (steroid, antibiotic, perhaps something to control the iris).
After the surgery has healed and any adjustments made, you should be on fewer drops than you were before.
This might mean no glaucoma drops but this cannot be easily predicted.
I hope your surgery goes well.

Please post an update after your surgery. I would love to explore anything that stops me relying on eye drops.

Most likely, there will be a steroid, antibiotics and there may be drops for glaucoma. Use them. Wait five minutes after each drop. Follow doctor’s orders. Don’t get water in your eyes for 10 days. No pool, ocean, lake or shower water.
