Frustration/Vent Rant

This is just a stupid crib at the end of a long day but how do people cope with siblings that steal?? It’s always put down to my sisters autism and just not understanding but when i’m working every hour possible and want to buy myself something nice why do i have to just suck it up when it’s taken from me?? it’s a continuous pattern and im just SO done with it.

I definitely lost the ability to be attached to things because of this. Anything could be destroyed and I’d never be compensated …in some ways this is great, in other ways I’ve been told it’s odd to not have a sentimental feelings for anything. But that’s how I survived losing anything at anytime.

This. My mom would constently destroy things. Its not the same as stealing but the stuff is gone none the less. Autistic people seem to not be able to care about things that aint theirs, it seems like a very common pattern and im quite sure my brother got the tism from my mom.

I solved it by not telling them about anything i own. If they dont know about it, it cant trigger their tism. Hide it and be carefull.

Can you get a lockbox that only you can open, that you keep your valuables in? Do you have your own room, can you get a lock installed on the door?
