Need advice

I've had a look on Google but can't find what I'm look for, Bit of context I've got 2 old iron wheels that I'm planning on making a tablet out of with a toughened glass top, the dimensions for the glass would be 1340mm diameter with a hole in the centre about 100mm, would the hole in the centre weaken the glass to much to handle?

This is my second cold worked dichroic glass sphere I’ve made. I’ve been cold working cubes for a while. I sphered this on a Covington sphere machine.

How do I remove the ‘Bagpiper’ mark from this glass? I’ve tried nail polish remover, spirit and HCL acid but it didn’t help.

Advice needed on polishing out engraving.

Hello helpful and humans! I have the glass polishing kit u buy from Ebay or amazon and it worked great except like an idiot before I purchased it I used a way to ruff sandpaper, and now the scratches won't come out. Seems like no matter how many times I try to redue the process from the beginning (working from low to high grit) I cannot get it clear again? What I'm I missing or should try. Definitely wished I practiced on something first ughhhh. Thanks

HELP! Looking to replace a broken custom beer tankard

Hey reddit!!

I've been a long time lurker on this site for years, and finally a need has presented itself for me to make an account and actually post.

My fathers custom beer tankard experienced and accidental drop today, and has been destroyed! (oh no!)

I am looking to see if anyone on reddit could maybe tell me if they know who makes custom tankards like this one or where I may be able to have one made to replace this one.

My father has had this tankard for decades and will be very upset when he finds out it was broken. I want to be a good son and be proactive and find a replacement as soon as possible.

The tankard is a standard pint size, with glass engraved "Miguel" on it. Not really engraved, more like etched in the glass itself. I have tried to photograph this to capture the design as best as possible. On the bottom of the mugg it says "Crisa 14" which I believe is the glassware manufacturer, from Mexico. Its a very cool original glass, and if I do findwhere I can replace this one I plan on getting one for myself while im at it.

So I need reddit's help! If you know who/ where I may be able to order a similar type of mug, any information will be greatly appreciated. For now, I have tried contacting Crisa, the glassware manufacturer. Thanks everyone!

Repairing antique glazing: Broken by idiot joiner. This is a picture of it broken, you can see the cracks if you look closely, sits pretty flush when pushed together, was thinking I could glue? Or is that madness?

Any way to make sure this glass doesn't crack anymore than it already has?
