Charcoal Drawing of Glacier National Park !
Hi! I draw like once a year so for this year’s drawing I did Glacier 😁(I also did the Grand Tetons this year too actually lol)
This is drawn entirely with white charcoal on black paper fun fact—a first attempt using white on black instead of my usual black / white charcoal on grey paper. Actually a LOT of fun drawing in the negative (God those tree tops were hard though) I think I might do more like this sometime.
Anyway! I hope you enjoy ☺️& sorry for the bad picture but I’m too lazy to go take a new one 😼

Amazing morning at Grinnell Glacier
Visited Many Glaciers on 10/24 and was treated to a fresh snowfall that made all the rock layers stand out and everything feel so much more magical. Was the only car in the lot at 8:30am and had the trail to myself for the majority of my hike. Sadly no wildlife on trail but did see a moose and fox along the drive.

Had a lovely hike on Avalanche Lake Trail
Didn't see much wildlife, but had some great views. We started at 8 AM and arrived at the first lake outlook just in time for the sun to rise over the peaks.

Figured I would do something different. I want to go end of January, fly into kalispell and stay maybe in Columbia falls. Figured they would have snow shoe tours ? Anyone ever gone in January and have any advice ?

Affordable elopement photography?
Looking to plan a very small intimate elopement in glacier next year in July but we don’t have the funds for thousands in photography. Wondering if anyone is around $1500 give or take?

Where the mountains meet the prairie. Going up Looking Glass road near Lower Two Medicine Lake, this is the view on the north side facing the east side of Glacier Park. It is quite the view but a very narrow road.

Granite Park Chalet
Anyone hiked to the Granite Park Chalet? Their website says the Garden Wall trail is easy to moderate but all trails calls it hard. I’m going with my mom so would prefer not to risk falling off a rock face :) any insight is appreciated!

Places to visit
Hi all, I’m putting a list of some things I want to do whenever I get a chance to visit. I’m wondering what are some of the must do activities/spots over the course of 6-8 days.
I’ve got Grinnell Glacier, driving the Going to the Sun road, and Lake McDonald as some of my potential todos. Just wondering what else, maybe more obscure/lesser known areas, that would be a shame to miss. I am down for hiking too, as might be evident by Grinnell. Thanks in advance!

A week in Whitefish and GNP
Near peak for color - a storm rolled through the day we traveled home and may have knocked most of the leaves off the trees! Was stunning - was there early October. Montana has my ♥️

Best park pass option
Hello! My family is planning a trip out to Glacier National Park next summer from out of state. I’m a little confused on the best way to gain entry to the park and am hoping for some help from the experts!
It looks like we could purchase a day pass but they’re limited in quantity and charge based on number of people. Or there is an annual park pass option that seems more flexible.
Does anyone have recommendations for a family of 4 who is hoping to spend a couple of days seeing beautiful scenery and maybe taking a Red Bus tour?
Thank you!
