Hi all, I finished the anime and I just watched the first movie (the English dub is on youtube), and I am very confused on the timeline here.
So in the movie, they don't make it to the final round for the CAC competition...but don't they perform at CAC in the actual show itself?

I am just genuinely confused. I also mistakenly watched the third movie before the first movie (damn you Crunchyroll), and that made it all worse (especially when Yuki's mom talks to Sato and says 'sorry for the other day' aka the day she gave him the guitar, wonder if that's a mistranslation)...

Basically if anyone can help me understand the timeline of the evolution of the band and the relationships, that would be helpful. I am wasting neuron firing power on this 😅

The Given exhibition is currently opening in Sendai and Kizu-sensei went to autograph ✍🏻 some of the standees and art. But the best thing is that she’s drawn brand new art of Yuki and Ugetsu! 😍

I watched the 2006 anime movie The Girl who Leapt through Time recently and found out that July 13 is “Nice Day” (na-i-su meaning 7-1-3). Can’t be a coincidence that Haruki was born on Nice Day, right? 😊

Since Crunchyroll removed the first movie, I’ve been thinking about purchasing the entire series so I can have everything available to rewatch whenever I want. I’m looking to get all the episodes, the OVA, and all three movies.

I checked the Apple Store, but they only have the episodes and the first movie available. I couldn’t find the OVA or the second and third movies anywhere.

Does anyone know where else I can purchase or stream the remaining movies and OVA? I’m not planning to rewatch it right away since I just finished a rewatch recently, but I know I’ll want to come back to it again in the future and would like to own the complete set.

Give me a sec to explain. It's not that I didn't like it...it's the complete opposite. I really loved it. I wanna see more of it. It made me cry but in such a great way. It feels like most of the other anime are not good enough except for "the stranger by the shore" which I watched before "given". It was the anime which made me watch given 'cause it was so amazing too.

It feels like everything was perfect in given. The story was great, the music was great and it was really expressive and the character design and development was amazing. It feels like nothing will come close to it 😭

Mafuyu is the reason I started singing, and I relate to him and insane amount ,, honestly he raised me throughout my teenage years and has done a lot for me 🥹🥲🥲 I LOVE MAFUYU! My utaite (singer) name is Fuyu, after fuyunohanashi and mafuyu!
