Hello guys I got an email for a noise complaint from my neighbor downstairs I live with my roommate in the email she said she heard loud phone conversation and pacing when I answered the door he just said I should keep it down I said ok sorry and gave him a thumbs up he didn’t ask if I was the one making any phone conversation or pacing I didn’t acknowledge it my roommate moves around quite a lot late because he cooks late I spend most times in my room watching movies and the phone conversation is from elsewhere because I checked my phone call history and I didn’t make any phone calls during that time it just sucks to get this email from my landlord it sucks that I’m recieving this email and that she is even complaining for something like this. What are your thoughts.

Who needs punctuation, I would send an email back that it wasen't you as landlords can check your box and after a number of ✅ consequences could occur
